It’s no secret that Kate Middleton has always had a soft spot for estranged brother-in-law Prince Harry, and has tried to intervene to try and end the royal feud between him, Prince William, and King Charles on several occasions in recent years.
And it seems like the Princess of Wales is back to playing peacemaker again, as she is reportedly begging her husband and father-in-law to “ease up” on Prince Harry and consider forgiving him in the hopes of finally restoring peace within the royal family. Keep reading for more details…

Kate Middleton Is 'Trying Her Best' To Reunite The Royal Family
According to RadarOnline, an insider revealed that the Princess of Wales has asked King Charles and Prince William to "lighten up on Harry" and reach out to him in a bid to "finally make peace."
This is of course easier said than done, as the insider said: "It's unlikely to happen, but Kate is trying her best as she knows the family can't withstand any more tragedies or scandals."

The source went on to explain that although Kate is hurt by Prince Harry's actions, she's also disheartened by the lack of effort from the rest of the royal family to repair the damage.
"Kate's deeply upset with Harry, but she's also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly. It's heartbreaking for her to watch the family so publicly divided."

Prince William Has 'Made It Clear' The Royal Family Should 'Keep Their Distance' From Prince Harry
While the mom-of-three may be pushing for a reconciliation, it's clear to see that Prince Harry hasn't made things easy for himself. This is partly due to his bombshell memoir Spare that revealed a lot of family secrets and even slammed the Princess of Wales in some parts, the controversial Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary, and most recently, the interviews he has given since losing his battle for private security.
"William is furious that Harry's speaking out again and doing interviews – he's convinced this isn't the end of it," the source explained, adding: "He's made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them."

The Prince of Wales' feelings about his younger brother appear to be very strong, and he doesn't seem to be willing to change his mind; not even for his wife! "William doesn't like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone," the insider noted.
"What he's most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later – especially if there's another book, or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story," they continued.
