On Monday, May 26th, it was revealed that Lindsay would be ELLE's 2025 Summer Issue cover star through a series of social media posts and press releases. The actress participated in a stylish and elegant photoshoot and sat down for an interview with Chloe Fineman, who is a popular cast member on Saturday Night Live.
The two performers got to speak about her upcoming film Freakier Friday and more, and Lindsay's fans cannot get over the outfits she posed in to accompany her interview. The Mean Girls star wore several chic outfits for her photoshoot, but one of her fans' favorites seemed to be a simple yet effective ensemble consisting of a black figure-hugging leotard, sheer tights, and a long black fur coat. Her blonde, highlighted locks were left down with a tousled style, and her makeup was minimal, with large, luscious lashes.
The outfit was captured in fabulous black and white photographs, which were shared on social media platforms like Instagram, where her supporters flooded the comment section with words of encouragement, writing that she looked "perfect" and "gorgeous."
Other outfits Lindsay wore included a sheer lace catsuit and high heels, a simple white camisole with black leather pants, and more. While chatting with the SNL actress, the famous redhead talked about her upcoming projects and her life as a mother. She had her first child, a son named Luai, with her husband, Bader Shammas, in 2023. In the middle of talking about prioritizing self-care and routines, she said her kid "needs a kid to play with."
"He needs a friend," said Lindsay after Chloe asked her about having more children.
"I don't know if it's selfish—but I'm like, 'I need more than one kid to take care of me when I'm older,'" she continued.
Fans of Freaky Friday, starring Y2K icon and famous actress Jamie Lee Curtis, will be happy to know that the two have remained good friends and that Jamie gave Lindsay some maternal advice when she found out she was having her first child.
"We're both very family-oriented people," explained Lindsay.
"We always talk about that, and one of the other big things [she's taught me] is to always take care of yourself first. Because without that, how can you do everything for everyone else?"
The two moms are getting ready for the release of Freakier Friday, where they will reprise their 2003 characters, and fans can expect to view it in theaters on August 8th.
