Madonna Seemingly Dissolves Her Fillers Before Attending The 2025 Met Gala
The "Vogue" singer turned heads when she attended this year's Met Gala, whose theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." It was her first time attending the coveted event since 2019, when she made an iconic appearance at the 2018 "Heavenly Bodies" themed year.
She wore a simple yet elegant and sharp Tom Ford suit in an ivory shade, which she complemented with all-white accessories. The musician wore her famous blonde locks back in a low ponytail and accessorized her look, which many would argue was appropriate for the theme, with lace white gloves, a bowtie, and diamond earrings. However, one of the most notable aspects of her appearance was her face, which looked slightly different than it did a while back. Madonna's cheeks were much less plump, and her lips looked slightly thinner.
In 2023, the 80's star surprised her fan base when she tweeted that she was looking "cute" after the "swelling from her surgery" had gone down, admitting to altering her face for her appearance, something quite bold for a celebrity of her caliber to do. Similar to most public figures who get cosmetic procedures, the Grammy winner was ridiculed by internet users for her use of plastic surgery. So, when she arrived at the Met Gala looking like she had dissolved her facial fillers, many were pleased and took the time to compliment her on social media.
Fans Say Madonna Looks 'So Much Better' Without Her Fillers On Social Media
After high-quality photos and videos of the fashion icon were shared on social media following the Met Gala, many of her fans and other internet users decided to call out her appearance in a positive way, stating that she looked a lot more like herself and that seeing her more natural face was refreshing, as they had expressed their disappointment in her transformation in the past.
"She looks like Madonna again," wrote a fan under an Instagram reel of Madonna posing at the Met Gala.
"[It] looks like she dissolved all those fillers," added another.
"She looks so much better."
"I'm happy the fillers are gone, and she looks like herself again," commented an Instagram user.
"Her face looks amazing now!" added another. "OMG! The most powerful woman of the world."
It seems like a majority of the comments on the mom of six's look at the gala were aimed at her allegedly dissolved face, yet others complimented her on her "stunning" suit.
Her appearance also prompted many to note that "aging is okay" and that it's often better to look "normal" than to alter your face to the point of being unrecognizable, which Madonna has been accused of in the past.
"I'm glad she removed those cheek fillers," admitted a fan on Instagram.
"She looks sweeter than ever and is aging gracefully. Madonna now truly resembles herself."
